Chocolate Heaven a.k.a. Archer Farms Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Spread

This is heavenly! After my last pb disappointment, I wasn't holding out any high hopes for another flavored peanut butter, but this is truly fantastic. It's actually something the hubs picked out at Target. I make him peanut butter and Nutella sandwiches a couple time a week for his lunch and he loves them--healthy I know, but so tasty. When he saw this, he was dying to try it and convinced me we should buy it "for the blog babe!" I throw him a bone every now and then. :)
Good balance between the chocolate and peanut flavors. Smooth, rich, but subtle chocolate flavor, and yet still tastes like peanut butter. The best part is that although it's sweet, that sweetness isn't the only distinguishing taste. It still a little runnier than I prefer my peanut butter ( I like it thick...that's what she said. Ha ha.). Seriously like the dreamiest Reese's all melted together. I know a lot of you like the PB and Co Dark Chocolate dreams, and I would guess this is similar. Gotta love me some Target brand though!

  1. i was just going to say you should try the DCD if you like that one. i noticed target has soo many flavored PBs, i bought the cinnamon flavor because i hate raisins and love cinnamon.. so the PB&Co CRS is not for me. but i was let down at the archer farms cinnamon taste. then i saw that you weren't into the CRS.. maybe PB & cinnamon pre-mixed are not meant to be!

  2. I know! I feel like I should just make my own--sprinkle a little cinnamon on top of my pb toast. I'll have to try that :)

  3. Hmmm...I'm not that into sweet, so I'm not sure I could always do chocolate and PB together (delightful as a dessert, but might be much as a meal). However, I do love Target and had no idea they had their own variety of PBs (one of our Targets is small, but if I travel a bit there's a "Super Target" with more selection.

    Time for a road trip...

And they need to come up with a PB/Banana PB, as that is the best combination in the world. Seriously.

  4. Abby, guess what?? They DO have a peanut butter and banana flavor. It is made under a different brand (who knew there were so many??) called PB loco. I agree that pb and b is one of the yummiest combos ever, and I've been meaning to try it. You just gave me a reason to go shopping girl!
