Inspired by my little raw food adventure the other day, and a little by this recipe, I decided to make my own "raw" ice cream at home. Ummm...here's how it went:
Big ol' spoonful of extra dark cocoa powder
and a splash of almond milk Well, it didn't taste disgusting, but was seriously lacking the texture or consistency that I would have liked.
As you can see, it was pretty soupy and gloopy. I think I tried to skimp a little too much on the banana (I only used a half), and I should have used my food processor instead of my blender. So don't try this lame-a** rendition, but do try it--as I will again, eventually. Funny enough, Gena has a much more successful and delicious experience posted on her page today.
