First of all, who knew they made limited edition yogurt? Not me. But luckily I had been keeping an eye out for this flavor since spotting it on a Hungry Girl email a while ago. I had this little gem as an afternoon snackie yesterday. This was very weird, but I kind of liked it anyway! It tasted just like a watermelon Jolly Rancher! The consistency was smooth and creamy, but I think my beloved Fage has spoiled me on all regular yogurts for eternity because I did miss the thickness. 80 cals, 5 g protein. Plus, even though it looks kinds orange in this pic, it was actually a loverly pink color. Nothing bad about a pink snack! I grabbed the Limited Edition Cantaloupe flavor, too, so look for a posting on that soon :)

That is such a crazy flavor! I'll have to keep my eye out!
ReplyDeleteI hope one of my local stores will carry this flavor. I'm craving watermelon this summer. I'm hooked on FAGE too.
ReplyDeleteGreek yogurt has totally spoiled me! I can't even eat most normal yogurts anymore.
ReplyDeleteI've been totally spoiled by Greek yogurt, so now I'm a (poor) yogurt snob. However, both of those flavors sound pretty good (and oddly, why have they never been around before?)
ReplyDeleteI don't think I can go back to it, but it's fun to know it's out there!
You know what I like to do sometimes? This is partially out of my love for Greek yogurt, but also helps to stretch it out a little cuz it's so expensive, but I'll mix half of a flavored yogurt with an equal amount of Fage. It really improves the texture of regular and you still get to eat the interesting flavors...
ReplyDeleteI just had it and it is super tasty!
ReplyDeleteDelicious!
